Quarterback Joe Burrow has agreed to a five-year contract extension with the Cincinnati Bengals, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reports.
The deal is worth $275 million, making Burrow the highest-paid player in the NFL. It includes $219.01 million guaranteed, Rapoport added.
Burrow, 26, was the No. 1 overall pick by the Bengals in the 2020 NFL Draft. He has led the team to back-to-back AFC Championship Game appearances, including a Super Bowl berth in the 2021 season.
In 2022, Burrow passed for 4,475 yards with 35 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He also rushed for 257 yards and five touchdowns.
